We are thrilled to officially announce the addition of a second program site for transcenDANCE, located at 5700 El Cajon Blvd. San Diego 92115. It is four miles away from our Lemon Grove studio. Due to our significant growth over the last two years, we began looking for additional space and were thrilled to find this ideal site. The building, located in the Rolando neighborhood, will allow for continued expansion of our youth programs, and will also house our mental health services and our administrative office.
transcenDANCE Lemon Grove will continue to house teen and alumni programming, performance events, and larger student rehearsals and gatherings. It also will continue to be the place for our adult artist-in-residency programs (that we launched in 2023) and will still be available for rentals with community artists and groups. Our summer camps will take place at both sites.
