2024 – 2025 Program Season
We are thrilled to offer our amazing CONNECT and CREATE programs beginning this fall for students ages 4 to 18!
Our CONNECT program is a dynamic blend of movement and visual art, and our CREATE Performance Group program provides students with the opportunity to experience robust dance training and co-create an original performance that will be shared through three public performances in a professional theatre. Our scholarship model is trust based and allows families to access the programs without financial barriers. transcenDANCE is committed to providing equitable access to high quality creative youth development programs.
Don’t forget that attendance at one of our Parent/Caregiver Orientations in September is required for registration in any of our programs. Get ready for an unforgettable season of dance and creativity with transcenDANCE!
Parent/Caregiver Orientation
All parents/caregivers who are enrolling in any CONNECT or CREATE class or program must attend one orientation date to complete registration, meet the team, and hear important information about the new year. Please join us on September 5th or September 12th from 6:00 – 7:15 pm at 5700 El Cajon Blvd.

Orientación para padres/cuidadores
Todos los padres/cuidadores que se inscriban en cualquier clase o programa CONNECT o CREATE deben asistir a una fecha de orientación para completar el registro, conocer al equipo y escuchar información importante sobre el nuevo año. CONNECT Classes
CONNECT classes are for younger youth who wants to explore dance, movement, and visual art while using their imagination, creativity, and self-expression. The extended class times are for students ages 4-6 and 7-9. They will have the opportunity to develop skills, build community with peers, while also expressing themselves boldly!
Classes are on Mondays and begin September 16, 2024 and run through May 19, 2025. Partial and full scholarships available.

CREATE Performance Group
Our CREATE Performance Group program provides an exciting opportunity for 9 to 18 year olds to receive dance training from a team of professional artists. Training will include hip-hop, cultural dance and contemporary dance forms and co-creating an original performance that will be shared with live audiences at the end of the program. Together, the students and professional artists will use a central theme to develop dances, spoken word and theatrical pieces.
