At transcenDANCE, no one is turned away due to lack of funds. We are a non-profit organization committed to accessibility and ask that our families pay for classes and specialty programs based on their income levels (chart below). All fees that are collected help to ensure that transcenDANCE can continue to offer quality, affordable classes and programs to our families and ensure that scholarships are available.
transcenDANCE does not require families to provide any proof of income or other paperwork. Our trust-based model asks that you review the income guidelines to determine your cost level and register for classes based on one of our three recommended categories:
- Full Rate – Families pay the full class or program fee. (*All transcenDANCE classes are offered at lower cost than typical dance studio fees. Payment plans and Sibling Discount application available when paying Full Rate)
- Discounted Tuition – Families pay only 50% of fees for classes and programs.
- Full Scholarship – Families pay no fees and receive a full scholarship for classes and programs.
However, if you fall under a partial or full payment income category, but still need access to a scholarship or discounted tuition due to special circumstances, transcenDANCE will honor your decision to apply for that.
We honor every family’s circumstances and commitment to transcenDANCE, financial and otherwise. We believe that our unique trust-based sliding scale model creates a thriving community experience for all individuals and families.

Income guidelines will be updated annually. All families requesting scholarships or discount tuition must reapply each year. All dollar amounts listed below are Gross Annual Income (before taxes are deducted) amounts per household.
